VIET FLYBOARD INTERNATIONAL OPEN
RISE ABOVE THE WATER
VND 350,000,000 prize pool
Every athlete enters through one door and rides the same sheet on three Sea-Doo 300 jet skis. Qualifier: 1 run. Challenger: 1 run; Pro: 2 runs, the better score counts. On lock: median of each mark column, then × weights, minus panel faults. The secretariat splits brackets by the Open score — riders do not pick Pro or Challenger. Nationality does not change a mark.
01
Flyboard Open Championship. Meet age and safety rules, get approved, then ride the qualifier.
02
Same course, same sheet, three Sea-Doo 300 jet skis. Each athlete rides 1 run. Ties: difficulty & amplitude, then technique, then a 30-second combo, then a draw.
03
Places 1–12 enter the Pro bracket. Places 13–32 enter Challenger. Later places keep an official qualifier rank and do not ride a bracket final.
12 finalists; each athlete rides 2 runs; the better score counts. Start list: whole field finishes run 1 before run 2. No nationality reserve. Only these riders contest Pro prizes.
20 places by Open score; each athlete rides 1 run. The field may grow by up to 6 host places. Only these riders contest Challenger prizes.
If at least 6 Vietnamese athletes already sit in the top 32 after the score cut, nothing else is needed. Only when short, the secretariat manually calls the next Vietnamese riders by Open score (high to low) into Challenger — one at a time, without removing anyone already inside place 32. A Vietnam ranking follows finals standing (Pro, then Challenger; otherwise Open qualifier); Vietnam ranking 1st/2nd/3rd follow that list (winners may also receive a bracket prize).
Age 16 or older; under-18 athletes need guardian confirmation. A performance video. Documented safe-operation training. Files are assessed by the technical panel.
The provisional prize pool is 350 million VND: Pro places 1–6, Challenger places 1–6, and Vietnam ranking top 3.
